HYT For women

Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) is a natural treatment without medication, but with specific exercises reactivating hormone production. The series of exercises is dynamic with specific breathing technique to massage and reactivate glands. It combines Hatha yoga, Kundalini yoga and Tibetan energy techniques and acts directly on the ovaries, thyroid, hypophysis, pituitary and adrenal glands.

Hormone Yoga is suitable for women of all ages, with or without yoga experience, and consists of a series of exercises and positions focusing on breathing, relaxation and stress reduction.

HYT was specifically designed by Dinah Rodrigues for women with complaints caused by hormonal imbalances. Even if you don’t have any symptoms it’s very beneficial and works preventively. It's a very nice yoga series with strong anti-stressing potential. It has been scientifically proven that stress has harmful effects on production of hormones. In HYT we pay a lot of attention to anti-stress exercises.

Dinah selected these techniques to get quick results because women suffering unpleasant symptoms don’t want to wait too long to get better. Dinah noticed that women already feel the positive results of HYT after regularly practicing the 30 minute routine for about a month.


Hormone yoga therapy helps with these problems caused by hormonal imbalances:
Symptoms associated with menopause (hot flashes, sleeplessness, irritability, depression, emotional instability, memory impairment, loss of vitality, low libido, urogenital dryness, migraines), premenstrual syndrome (PMS), ovarian cysts, polycystic ovaries (PCOS symptoms : hirsutism, acne, weight gain), loss of menstruation and ovulation, infertility caused by hormonal imbalances, poor blood circulation and muscle spasms in the pelvic area, or adhesions tubal, osteoporosis, incontinence, depression, emotional instability, memory impairment caused by low levels of hormones , thyroid (underactive thyroid gland), insomnia, hair loss, brittle nails, dry skin and acne, carpal tunnel syndrome.

Two groups of women will especially benefit from Hormone Yoga Therapy, women in menopause and those trying to conceive.

CONTRAINDICATIONS for Hormone Yoga Therapy:
Pregnancy, advanced endometriosis, breast cancer, advanced osteoporosis (which threatens to fracture bones), increased thyroid function, inflammation of the inner ear, heart problems or previous heart surgery, before or shortly after abdominal surgery, shortly after a hysterectomy (consult in advance), large fibroids, or unspecified abdominal pain.

I recommend in these cases, personal consultation on how to report the case may be adapted in the series of exercises. HYT is not suitable for those diseases where it is not desirable to increase the body's own hormone levels (in case of doubt, consult your doctor).
